Heroes, Beasts and Demons
Baku- A Japanese good spirit. Baku is the "eater of dreams". It is believed that evil dreams are caused by evil spirits. When a person awakens from a nightmare, he or she can call upon Baku to eat their dream. Baku is believed to be able to turn a bad dream into good fortune by eating the evil from nightmares.
